At P&G, Products Researchers integrate deep understanding of consumer needs and motivations with technical knowledge and business objectives to drive innovation. The goal of this unique, core R&D discipline is to create irresistible superiority.

2023 marks the 100th year anniversary of Product Research at P&G.

On February 7th, to inaugurate the next era of products research, the SgIC hosted an offsite themed where entire PR community as well as their partners got together. Richard Desmier, global PR discipline leader kicked off the day with a history of the PR discipline.

Julie Setser, Senior Vice President, R&D, talked about “Raising the Bar on Irresistible Superiority and the Role of Products Researchers”.

This was followed by illuminating presentations from our very own SgIC Products Researchers.

We also had a candid and insightful panel discussion on the past, present and future Role of PR as a competitive advantage to P&G.

In short, a day of inspiration, great food, great fun and valuable connections. Thank you Stephane Boissie and Elsie Urdaneta for your inspiring sessions and building our capability.
